Practice Leadership at AWA Foundation

Practice has supported causes and initiatives related to women in design for years, and as of October 1, four employees will proudly assume new or expanded roles within the Foundation Board of the Association for Women in Architecture + Design. Principal Staci Nesbitt, AIA, LEED AP will be elevated from a Board Member to the Foundation’s Vice President. Working hand in hand with President Megan Horn, she will play a vital role in overseeing the Foundation's investments and will serve as a co-mentor to one of the mid-career scholarship winners.

Project Manager Isa Mattia will continue as co-chair of the organization’s Awards Committee, overseeing the distribution of more than $35,000 of annual scholarships and fellowships. Associate Noelle White will join the Board as Secretary, ensuring the operations of the Foundation, which supports women across all design professions by awarding scholarships, fellowships, and grants, runs smoothly. Designer Diana Alejandra Perez will become a member of several committees, lending her experience and relationships to grow the organization’s exposure and impact.
